Jonathan and Stephen have formed a coaching team and offer an experience no other coaches can.
Improving golfers is their number one goal. They are constantly researching better and more effective ways to learn. Their appetite for knowledge is ongoing, regularly attending coaching conferences and seminars to discuss the latest techniques in the golfing world. Between them they have also spent time with some of the worlds leading golf coaches allowing a unique insight into top end coaching and swing theory application.
Jonny and Steve always embrace and use modern technology, specifically the use of high speed video, N-Flight launch monitor software, Golf Shot GPS and Golf Shot data collection. They are also two of only three Level III PGA Professionals in the area that take advantage of the iPad 2 GASP golf swing analysis application. They were the first to do so! This allows video analysis anywhere, even on the putting green or golf course.
With a particular interest in how the mind influences learning and performance, Jonny and Steve offer a refreshing, enjoyable and very informative style of coaching. Their systematic and holistic approach can be tailored to suit any individual and is designed to provide the optimum environment for golfers to achieve their full potential.

Jonny joined The Dorset Golf & Country Club in the year 2000 and has since established himself as one of the leading coaches in Dorset.
As a junior, he represented and captained Dorset in all age categories up to U18’s. Still as a junior, he then went onto play for Dorset Colts and county men’s teams as well as being selected to represent the South West of England. Jonny has played golf at a top amateur level and competed professionally throughout the West Region.
From a young age Jonny’s ambition was always to work in the golf industry, with a particular drive and determination to succeed as a coaching and teaching professional. He takes a great deal of pride, enjoyment and fulfilment from his work and truly loves the never ending quest for improvement. Jonny is continually and endlessly fascinated by the game as a whole, with a particular drive to help others develop an achieve.
Jonny has taught at every level from entry level beginner to county first team and professional players. Jonny has been involved with coaching the county U14’S squad and was more recently appointed a Dorset County Academy Coach.

Stephen joined The Dorset Golf and Country Club in 2008 and has quickly established himself as one of the top young coaches in Dorset.
As a junior Steve represented The Dorset Country in all age categories up to the U18′s squad. Stephen then went on to play for The County Colts before ending his amateur career and turning professional. Professionally Steve went on to play the South West PGA circuit followed by The EuroPro Tour. Having played golf at almost every level Stephen has great experience in competitive golf and knows what attributes a player must have to play at a top standard.
Growing up as the son of a golf professional Stephen has been involved in golf his whole life. Steve has taught in Spain, Turkey and Florida USA spending time with some of the best coaches in the world.
As a Coach Stephen has taught at every level, from beginers to Top County golfers as well as a number of professionals.
